Sessions

Your initial assessment is the first step taken to prepare for your Brainwave Optimization (BWO).

Before your scheduled Brainwave Assessment (BWA) you are asked to complete your subjective and objective surveys.

While you are sitting comfortably, leaned back in our zero-balance chair, we stick pairs of  electronic sensors to your scalp using conductive paste.

We take readings from seven different locations. Each reading is performed with your eyes closed, then semi-open and then with eyes open on a task.

A task (repeating numbers, reading, calculating, listening, counting, watching the screen) is added for each location to activate this particular area of your brain, while your data are recorded.

This data are processed together with the surveys to generate the BWA, and a suggestion of which protocols - that is a placement with a related software design - to run during your BWO sessions to help balance the energy patterns in your brain.

After your Brainwave Assessment you will be asked to complete paperwork. We will then discuss with you the results of your assessment, your goals, and how we will be working with you individually.


 

Each of your sessions consist of 6 - 8 protocols, which are designed to help balance your brain.

Before you start your BWO sessions you are given important information that we recommend you follow.

While comfortable reclined in our chair with electronic sensors placed at various points on your head recording your brainwave activity during each protocol, you will be listening to various sounds of music played back to you from your own brain, letting it move towards a more balanced state - further helped by a guided meditation, a visualization or a task on screen.

We monitor your progress during each of the protocols and afterwards ask you how you are feeling.
Sometimes a protocol is pulled and replaced by another in order to complete your Brainwave Optimization.


After your last BWO session we will review with you the progress you have made. Results are generally subtle at first, and then they build over time.

Some clients feel subtle changes after the third or fourth session. However, many clients will notice the appearance of the most significant changes coming two to four weeks after their last BWO session.


You will also receive an e-mail or a letter four weeks after the end of your BWO sessions, as we would like you to give us your feedback of the full result of your Brainwave Optimization.


 

To get the most out of your sessions we ask you to follow important recommendations.

Since neurons are negatively affected by alcohol and recreational drugs and so will tend to fail in building new stable neural nets, these are therefore counterproductive to Brainwave Optimization.

We ask you to refrain from alcohol and using any type of recreational drugs at least 48 hours (one week better) before the start of your BWO sessions, during and between your sessions and at least 4 weeks after your last session.
The BWO sessions will help you cope with this.

We ask you to refrain from other therapeutic modalities during, and at least four weeks after the end of your sessions to avoid possible risk of negative interference with your BWO process,.

Between sessions it is important to maintain a proper hydration - please drink plenty of good quality water.

Similarly it is recommended to increase your intake of proteins and certain supplements.

Omega-3 fatty acids in the form of Flax oil,

Fish oil or Krill oil capsules are highly recommended.
